He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Derrick and Lula Barker Derrick; his daughter Barbara Scott Derrick; his wife Mary Whitworth Derrick; his son Jack Derrick; his mother-in-law Debbie of Atkins; and also Patricia Lewan Derrick.
He is survived by: his sons, Harvey Derrick II of Little Rock and Andy Derrick; and his grandchildren, Scott Derrick of Atkins, Travis Derrick (Mindy) of Benton, BriAnne Clover of Russellville, Beth Owens of Grapevine, Dusti Yarber of Russellville, Jeremiah Derrick (Teagan) of Newport and Zachary Derrick (Savannah Deleon) of Washington, D. C.. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
