He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Burnett and Mary Roxie Burnett; his children, Clayton Burnett and Lisa; his son-in-law Tony Yates; his brothers, Kenneth and Charlie Burnett; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Burnett; his sister Frances Thompson; his daughters, Margo Patterson (Roy), Renee Pledger (Steve), Cindy Burnett Baggett, Monica Palmer (Brent) and Marla Bartlett (Kent); his grandchildren, Nick Pledger (Kayla), Whitney Rountree (Nick), Heath Pledger (Demi), Keith Pledger (Anna), Melissa Pledger Ridgeway (John), Jennifer Burnett, Marissa Burnett and Linsey Bartlett; and his great grandchildren, Palmer, Parker, Liam and Cohen.
