We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2022, at the age of 77, Gloria Jean Smith Blakney of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorene Billings Smith and Woodrow Smith; and her son Brett Gary Blakney. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Isabelle Fiona (Izzy), William Shannon Brendon (Liam) and Elijah John David (Elijah); her husband Gary Blakney; her daughter Jane Anne Blakney-Bailey (Brendon); her grandchildren, Izzy and Liam; her brother Johnny (Carol); her niece Laura (Alan); and her nephew John D. (Kerry). She is also survived by friends and family.

She was effervescent in her joy and respectful in her endless contributions to those in need.
