It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald K. Johnson Sr. (Little Rock, Arkansas), born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jaquetta Bob Knight (Jackie); and his parents, Gladys Johnson of Augusta, AR and Kay Johnson of Austin, TX.. He is survived by: his children, G. K. Johnson, Jr. (Claudia) of Atlanta, GA, Brenda Majors and Scott Johnson (Quinci) of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Ryan Nunez (Ricky), Brooke Johnson, Ross Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Jackie Majors (Joey), Emily Lang (Derek) and Graeson Johnson of Little Rock; and his great grandchildren, Kylie Barrow, Mason and Miles Lang.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Second Presbyterian Church or to The Down Syndrome Foundation, organizations that held special places in Gerald's heart.
