He is survived by: his children, Erica Tenpenny (Kyte), Anquetta Thompson and Quinston Penn; his girlfriend Shemonia Peair; his girlfriend's children, Brittany Nixon and Javon Woods; his siblings, Theresa Abernathy, Marilyn Friebel, Jeffrey Hall and David Jordan; and his close friend Michael McGowan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
