She was predeceased by: her parents, E. T. Gill and Thelma Norris Gill; her husband Hunter Shepherd of Little Rock; her stepson Hunter Shepherd Jr.; and her siblings, Frank Gill, Carroll Gill, Bud Gill, James Andrew Gill, Ray Gill, Kay Gill, Ernestine Mankin, Norma Harrod and Peggy Gill Vickers.
She is survived by: her stepson David Shepherd (Janey) of Little Rock; her brother F. H. Gill (Harriette) of McGehee; her grandchildren, Anthony McCarley and Madeline Shepherd; and her pet Zoey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
