As Evelyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Evelyn. Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Aubra Lindsey and Willie Virginia Prim; and her sister Mildred Jean Yancey. She is survived by: her husband Ray Weathersby; her son Stephen Weathersby; her brother Dr. William C. Lindsey; her niece Michelle Smith; and her nephews, John Lindsey and Scott Yancey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (501 N Shackleford Rd, Little Rock, AR 72211). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
