In loving memory of Eileen Backus of Little Rock, Arkansas, who departed this world on March 19, 2025 at the age of 79. Eileen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl McCarroll and Helen McCarroll; and her brother Earl McCarroll, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joe Backus; her brother Mike McCarroll; her children, Jim McDonald (Carole), Shannon Grimmett (Chris) and Michael McDonald (Micah); her grandchildren, Heather Haskins (Christian), Landon Grimmett, Chloe Louden (A. J.), Lucas McDonald, Keaton Grimmett, Day Matthews, Paxton McDonald, Phoenix McDonald and Penelope McDonald; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Haskins and Amira Louden.
A reception will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (13801 Chenal Pkwy, Little Rock, AR 72211).
