He is survived by: his wife Tere Nelson Vanderburg; his son Dr. Jason Vanderburg (Sarah) of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Molly Vanderburg and Tyler Vanderburg; and also, Sheffield and Mary Lynn Nelson.
