He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Monroe and Evelyn Douglas Ashley Wade; his wife Mary McConnell Ashley; his daughter Wanda Jane Luckey; and his sister Mary Lynn Dunlap.
He is survived by: his children, David Ashley (Jill) of East End, Jean Ann Burkhalter (Mark) of Quitman, Delores June Wells (Ronnie) of Frisco and Rebecca Ashley of East End; and his sister Shirley Wicks of Austinpeay, TN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Cemetery Association.
