She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene; her daughters, Karen Stroud and Kathy Kresse; her parents, William Gerke and Rosalia Gerke; and her siblings, Father Maurus Gerke, Charles Gerke, Rose Marie Kresse and Rita Prieur.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Kresse (Sandy), Christy Leach (Jim), Tim Kresse, Greg Kresse (Julie), Cynthia Kresse, Sharon Kresse, Lisa Patterson (Paul), Kevin Kresse (Bridget) and John Kresse (Christy); and her sister Irene "Jewel" Kordsmeier (Jack). She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
