It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donny Spears of Little Rock, Arkansas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Olive Lillian Rockett Spears and Grayson Lee Spears; and his siblings, Barbara Roberson, Florene Keech, Evelyn Hudson, Opal Lee Spears, Grayson, Ted and James W. Spears (Jake).

He is survived by: his wife Ida Frances Young; his daughter Amy Spears-Schally (Gordon Schally) of New Orleans; his brothers, Jerry (Donna) of Little Rock and Paul (Gwenette) of Ruston, LA; and his brother-in-law Mike Young (Phyllis) of Shreveport, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Donny's church home, Pinnacle Church of Christ, 11610 Pleasant Ridge Rd, Ste 103-157 Little Rock, AR 72223.
