He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Smith and Burnice Burnett (Shavers); his siblings, Terry Lee Smith, Rickey Burnett, Larry Smith, Welton Smith and Willie Busby; and his nephew Tilton McDonald.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Arsenio Brooks and Brandi Hills (Carlos); and his siblings, Otis Burnett, Charles Burnett, Verlin Sherril, Charlie Smith, Doyce Williams, Sharon Easley (Chris), Aretha Sherril, Ida Rainey, Ollie Rudolph and Delois Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
