He is survived by: his daughters, Sonja Walker-Maples of Nashville, TN and Ramona Ford (Lorenzo) of Little Rock, AR; his grandson Marcus A. Walker; his siblings, Joyce Crockett, Gladys Washington (Earl), Pauline Scaife of Springfield, AR., Benjamin Walker (Ruby) of Springfield, AR and Michael Walker (Gerri) of Memphis, TN.; and his sisters-in-law, Nina Walker of Kansas City, MO, Catherine Walker of Richardson, TX and Harriet G. Gibson (Roosevelt) of Chicago, IL..
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church (2501-2617 S Main St, Little Rock, AR 72204). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Amos answered his call to rest on Sunday November 10, 2024, at UAMS after a three-year battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
