It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell L. Carruthers of Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmother Jossie Howard Lambert; his father James E. Carruthers; and his brother Patrick Andre Carruthers. He is survived by: his mother Rev. Alice Carruthers of Bearden; his wife Evelyn Fisher Carruthers; his children, Charmaine Hill (Quentin), Jessica Briana Harris and James Caldwell Carruthers; his brother James Kenneth Carruthers (Yvonne); his grandchildren, Cha'niya Miller, Caprice Hill and Randall Rias; his brother Eric Dunbar; his stepchildren, Dankela Cleeg, Eshawn Fisher and Stephen Newborn of Little Rock, Arkansas; his aunts, Joyce Wilridge and Alberta Momon; and his uncle Waymon Howard (Maedell). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
