He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Miriam Cohn Phillips and Arthur Phillips Sr.; his brother Arthur Tad Phillips (Nancy); his children, Peter Phillips and Beverly Phillips Wittenberg; his grandchildren, Lauren Phillips Blair (Beau), Jessica Wittenberg Howard, Toby Murry (Chad) of Little Rock and Peter Joshua Phillips (Erin) of Charlotte, N. C.; his great-grandparent Mark M. Cohn; and his wife Sandy. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to a charity of one's choice.
