He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Cornell and Annie Venters Cornell; his wife Mildred "Millie" McCarver Cornell; and his siblings, Malcolm Cornell, Anita Jensen and Mary Lites.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Anderson (Rob) of Bend, OR, Kathy Kozak (John) of Conway, SC, Christie Hamaker (Marty) of Little Rock and Chet Cornell (Natasha); his sister Barbara Cornell Sterrett of Columbus, OH; and his grandchildren, Austen Gnad, Alexa Anderson, Samuel Gnad, Carver Gnad, Eric Hamaker, Ally Hamaker, Sydney Cornell and Liam Cornell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
