He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Townsend and Hezekiah Townsend Sr.; his siblings, Arlene Alexander and Hezekiah Townsend Jr.; his parents-in-law, Patsy Dowdy and Johnnie Larkins; his nephews, Sedrick Townsend and Rodney Townsend Sr.; and his niece Christy Townsend.
He is survived by: his spouse Tenesia Monique Larkin; his children, Sean ElliottTownsend and DeNiece Shanell Townsend; his grandchildren, Destinie Lorae Larkin and Daffinie Jo Larkin; his son Sam Townsend; his grandchildren, Destinie Larkin of Tulsa, OK, Daffinie Larkin (O'Neil) and Rayden Brinson; his godson Jecorey Young; and his siblings, Rosa Lee Spence, Katie Lee Stelivan of Arkansas, Wanda Townsend, Little Rock of Arkansas, Lee Floyd Townsend, Robert Townsend, Carl Townsend and Odell Townsend. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
