Carol Burns Smelley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2023, at the age of 87, Carol Burns Smelley (Little Rock, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eva Sue Sutherland Burns and Joseph Lowry Burns; her siblings, Larry Burns and Ann Burns Smith; her nieces and nephews, Elaine Moctezuma Burns (Pedro Moctezuma), Suzanne Mobley, G. Richard Smith (Susan Sims Smith), Michael Sutherland Smith and Joe Stuck Burns; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tlaloc Moctezuma, Olin Moctezuma, Lili Hamlyn, Reuben Hamlyn and Rose C. Smith; her cousin Martha Saunders; and also Desmond. She was also cherished by friends, newer friends.
