She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Willbanks and Ruth Willbanks; and her sister Peggy Jo Willbanks Jordan. She is survived by: her husband Doug Beard; her siblings, Ruth Helen Eddleman, Patricia Cranford and James Elliot Willbanks (Lynn Willbanks); her children, Jordan L Beard (Lara Kemp Beard) and Lauren Beard Vandiver (R. Matthew Vandiver); and her grandchildren, Anne Elliott Beard, Oscar Weldon Vandiver, Caroline Younger Beard, Byron James Vandiver and Graham Douglas Vandiver.
