She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Powell and Zenora Smith Powell; and her significant other James Ralston Bledsoe. She is survived by: her children, Sonja Allen Sims, Jacqueline Bledsoe, Michelle Bledsoe, Anthony Bledsoe, Sr. (Wanda) and Michael Bledsoe; her sisters, Sarah Minor, Faye Holmes (Earl), Willie Powell, Carolyn Powell Hobbs and Jerrie Dixon (Vernon); her sister-in-law Joan Carter of Woodstock, Georgia; her grandchildren, Anthony Bledsoe, Jr., Justin Bledsoe, Taylor Sims, Ma'Kayla Hudson, Ralston Bledsoe, Gezus Bledsoe, Melodie Swinney, Michael Bledsoe, Jr., Shamira Swinney, Kristopher Gentry, Tamara Smith, Caleb Bledsoe, Rashad Spriggins and Braylon Avant; her great grandchildren, Skyla Bledsoe, Riley-Marie Bledsoe, Cheyenne Bledsoe, Jumon Bledsoe, Blake Milliff, Chloe Bledsoe and Bleu Spriggins; and her close friend Hubert "Geese" Ausbie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special friends.
