She was predeceased by: her parents, A. C. McFarland and Mildred Fry. She is survived by: her sons, Alfred Barnes of Jonesboro, AR and Michael Barnes of Murphysboro, TN; and her siblings, John R. Cooper of North Carolina, Theo Cooper of Cleveland, OH, Herman Cooper of Blytheville, AR, Lorenzo Cooper of Cleveland, OH, Otto Cooper of Cleveland, OH and Mona Pruitt of Cleveland, OH. She is also survived by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
