He was predeceased by: his son Ricardo Holmes; his parents, Wesley Holmes and Carrie Jackson; and his brother Levi Baldwin, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Holmes; and his children, Sharon Phillips, Viveca Gray, Genois Willis (David), Kevin Holmes (Teresa), Tony Holmes (Linda) and Earl Smith (Marcia). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
