He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn "Junior" Thornton and Evelyn Gavin Thornton; and his brother Tommy Thornton. He is survived by: his son Brandon Thornton (Shelby) of Little Rock, AR; his granddaughter Avery Thornton of Little Rock, AR; his fiancée Patty Jo Reed of Benton, AR; and his niece Heather Sullins. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
