He is survived by: his mother Loretta Thurman Buttry; his children, Joshua Buttry of Fayetteville, Zachary Buttry of Fayetteville and Brianna Buttry of Lincoln, Arkansas; his sister Cathy Buttry Nielsen (Lenny) of Elkins; his nephew Dakota Nielsen (Kyra); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Raimey and Ryder Nielsen of Elkins; his nephew Devin Nielsen (Macie); and also Kase Nielsen of Elkins.
