She is survived by: her husband Smith; her son Kevin (Cate); her daughter-in-law Smith; and her grandsons, Collin, Kiernan and Jack. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children/grandchildren.

“I am so sorry to learn of Sue's passing. I became acquainted with her when I was in college at UNL and she was an alum of my sorority--Sigma Kappa>. I always admired her. Seeing her at sorority reunions was always such a pleasure. Several years ago I received a surprise phone call from her. She said that she was going things to downsize and came across my phone no. and wanted to see if I was still here. What a wonderful visit we had! I have thought about her so much over these years.”
