She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Troy Luther and Susie Luther; her husband Melvin Matthews; her daughter Tina Atchison (Daniel); her stepchildren, Melvin Matthews III (Shianne, Miles Matthews) and Mark Matthews (Miranda, Amanda Lahnan); her grandchildren, Colton and Brooklynn Atchison; her stepgrandchildren, Dillon, Garrett Matthews, Pamela, Kevin Matthews, Destiny and Desirae Matthews; her brother Tim Luther (Kellie); her nieces and nephews, Evan Luther, Meaghan Dill, Lauren Christensen, Trey and Kalen Richerson; her stepbrother Marion Lee Barnes; her nephews, Lafe, Bronson and Ethan Barnes; and her niece Haylee Barnes.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital in memory of Tammy Mae Matthews.
