He is survived by: his wife Terrie Slaughter; his daughter Holly Michelle Sams (Jared) of Lincoln; his sisters, Brenda Slaughter of Cottage Grove, Oregon and Patsy Boer (Gary) of Cottage Grove, Oregon; and his grandchildren, Bryson and Brody Sams.
