She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Collins and Elizabeth Collins (Holland); her husband Chester Floyd Thurman; and her siblings, LeRoy Collins, Vera Fain and Pauline Long.
She is survived by: her daughter Darlene Cheatham (JW Cheatham) of Lincoln; her brothers, Delmar Collins of Siloam Springs and Billy Collins of Emporia, Kansas; her granddaughter Robin George of Prairie Grove; her great grandchildren, Kenny George (Abby Wise), Ashley George, Jessica George and Jason George; and her great great grandchild Eliotte George. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
