He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Swanger and Virginia E Swanger (Barnes); and his former wife Joy Swanger. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer L. Swanger of Lima and Michael T. Swanger, II of Ada; and his grandchildren, Maddison, Isabelle and Bentley.
