It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia Nichols (Light, Arkansas), who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Douglas and Winnie Oldham Green; her husband John B. Nichols III of Danville; her children, Kitty Sears (Ben) of Nashville, Ann Reid Guild (Jeff) of Chattanooga and Alex Nichols of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Katie Forsyth (Bryan), Nathan Sears (Kendall), Nick Bradford and Patrick Bradford; and her great grandchildren, Camille and Luca Forsyth.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society or the Salvation Army.
