With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hattie Louise Holmes (Lexa, Arkansas), who passed away on November 13, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Holmes Sr.; and her son James Holmes Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Janette H. McCarty (Scott) of Lexa, AR, Vickie L. Rothe of Tempe, AZ, Melvin E. Hill (Kathy) of Heber Springs, AR and William D. Holmes of Proctor, AR; and her sisters, Mary Measel of Violet Place, PA and Carol Norris of Horseshoe Lake, AR. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
