He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Smith and Brenda Smith (Shirey); and his brothers, Willie S. "Bubba" Smith, Jr., Kenneth E. Smith and Jimmy T. Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, George Smith (Patty) of Forrest City, Daniel Smith (Kim) of Michigan and Belinda Buie of Lexa. He is also survived by four daughters and two stepdaughters.
