He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Ray and Estlen Ray (Brown); and his siblings, Ernest Ray, Taylor Ray, Gerladene Choates and Pauline Paine.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Ray (Rena) of Bradley, Arkansas, Elizabeth Ray of Lewisville and Lavonda Melendez of Granberry, Texas; his siblings, Rosie Fox (Joe) of Knoble, Lola Ray of Glenrose, Texas, Charles Ray (Toni) of Lewisville and Clay Ray (Bertha) of Whitney, Texas; his granddaughter Amara Miller; and his close friend Deebo.
