He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Nations; his children, Steven Nations and Michelle Nations; his siblings, Bill Nations and Pat Purtle; and his grandchildren, Brandon Nations, Trevor Nations, Lane Nations, Skyler Hefley (Ashley) and Cameron Powell (Sarah). He is also survived by one great granddaughter, Braylee Downs; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
