He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Harness and Pairlie Allred Harness; and his brother Devon Harness. He is survived by: his wife Lenora Harness; his son Michael Don Harness (Stella); his grandsons, Cody Harness and Wyatt Harness; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Pottberg and John Kuykendall (Margie).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Kuykendall Cemetery Fund at Simmons Bank in Marshall, Arkansas.
