He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulis Rains and Sally Overstreet Rains. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Goldsmith Rains; his daughters, Catrina (Ben), Jeanetta and Pauletta (David); his grandchildren, Courtney (Greg), Chelsea, David Paul and Cody; his great grandchildren, Serena and Cora; his friend Noah; his sons-in-law, Ben and David; and his grandsons, Greg, Noah and Matt.
