He was predeceased by: his father Rochester Lewis; and his stepfather Rufus Gray. He is survived by: his mother Bernice Brooks Lewis of Clinton; his wife Karen Schreckengost Lewis; his children, Andrew Lewis of Leslie and Sheila Payne (Johnny) of Leslie; his grandchildren, Heather Payne, Samuel Byrd (Ashley), Ashlynn Payne, Bethany Payne and Sydney Lewis; and his siblings, Sergal Lewis (Bonnie) of Marshall, Willis Lewis (Phyllis) of Leslie, Noel Lewis (Sharon) of Leslie and Janice Lewis of Leslie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are practicing social distancing at our graveside services and all patrons are required to provide and wear their own masks.
