He was predeceased by: his parents, William Luther Treat and Eula Evelyn Rains Treat; his siblings, Hubert Treat and Corine Boyd; his son-in-law Jimmie Ragland; his nephew Mark Drewry; and his cousin JB Treat.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Treat; his children, Sandra Hill (Warren), Harlie Treat Jr. of Leslie and Amanda Treat; his sister Cratie Treat of Leslie; his brother-in-law James Shepherd; his grandson David Ragland of Leslie; and his great grandchildren, Ashton and Autumn Ragland. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, friends and family.
