She was predeceased by: her parents, B. F. May and Lucinda Mills May; her daughter Pamela Herman; and her sister Ollie Mote. She is survived by: her husband Burl "Dude" Armstrong, Sr.; her sons, Burl Armstrong, Jr. (Cecelia) of Midwest City and Steven Armstrong of Lepanto; and her sister Bobbie Conner of Jonesboro. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
