He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Madlock and Josephine McClain Rodgers; his daughter Joann Merritt; his siblings, Walter Madlock, Cora Holliman and Rosie Turner; and his grandchild Pearlena Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Madlock of Lepanto, AR; his son Zachary Patterson (Jessica) of Webb City, MO; and his siblings, Arthur Madlock of Chicago, IL, Wilson Rodgers (Florine) of Kalamazoo, MI, Calvin Rodgers (Lulu) of Lepanto, AR, Lillie Benson, Azzie Jackson (Kenny) of Pasadena, CA and Ruby Moore (Earl) of Vienna, IL. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
