He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leandra Buchanan and Emma Lee Barnes; his wife Alice M. Buchanan of Lepanto, AR; his children, Allen Buchanan of Marked Tree, AR, Gizelle Buchanan of Lepanto, AR and Angela Crosby of Chicago, IL; and his brothers, Freddie Buchanan and Dwayne Buchanan of Kalamazoo, MI. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
