He was predeceased by: his parents, John Everett and Mary Elizabeth Brown Tyler; his siblings, Garry "Tiny" Tyler, Donald "Pete" Tyler and Janie Barnett; his niece Bridgette Tyler; and his nephews, Brian Tyler, Brent McKinness and Shawn Tyler.
He is survived by: his wife Carlotta Tyler; his daughters, Rhonda Lynn Tyler of Lepanto and Tammy Lannette Hale (Jay); his siblings, Charles Tyler (Brenda), James Tyler (Judy), David Tyler (Tammy), Mary Gibbs (Hollis), Shirley Tyler (Angie Rodgers) and Angela McKinness (Elmo); his grandchildren, Annah Battles, Jake Hale, Abigail Hale, Carlyn Carpenter, Mason Fowler, Harris Hale and Joseph Hale; and his great grandchildren, Slade Battles Simpson, Delilah Rose Jez and Wade Carpenter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
