He is survived by: his wife Genail Nelson of Lepanto; his children, Dewayne Nelson of Lepanto, Dennis (Julia Nelson) and Stephanie Johnson of Lepanto; his sister Joanie (Jerry Phillips); his grandchildren, Patrick Nelson, Brittney Kimbrell, Maggie Nelson, Logan Johnson and Nolan Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Cayden Kimbrell, Bella Kimbrell, Jayden Kimbrell and Hayden Hargett.
