He is survived by: his wife Rita Armstrong of Lepanto; his children, Horace Armstrong, Jr. of Trumann, Amanda Miller, Brenda Carpenter of Marked Tree, Vickie Needler, Patty Leitzen of Lepanto and Susan Wheeler of Jonesboro; and his siblings, Claude Armstrong, Jr. of Trumann, Maxine Quinn of Lepanto, Ivy McGhee of Houston, Peggy Balentine of Conway, Lou Mullins of Oklahoma City, OK and Martha Miller of Mountain Home. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
