He was predeceased by: his parents, William Daniel and Mabel Pedigo Kernes; and his siblings, Earl, James Kernes and Josephine Logston.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jernigan Kernes; and his siblings, Bill (Alice) of Quitman, TX, David (Mary Lou) of Quitman, TX and Oda Mae Strebeck of Texarkana, AR.. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews and loving brothers and sister in laws.
