She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wesley and Ruby Jewel Hindman (Farley); her husband James R. Martin; and her siblings, Willie Hindman and Dorothy Langston.
She is survived by: her sister Charlene Flowers; and her nieces and nephews, Carla Smith (Scott), Chuck Flowers (Tonya), Donna Ruiz (Hubert), Debbie Wommack (Dewayne) and Rick Langston. She is also survived by seventeen great nieces and nephews and twenty-three great great nieces and nephews.
