It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ellen McGarity of Leola, Arkansas, born in Malvern, Arkansas, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, R. G. Newton and Sylvia Wingard Newton; her son Bryan McGarity; and her brothers, Harold Newton and Robert Newton.

She is survived by: her daughter Lori Ann Allen of Camden; and her brothers, Kenneth Newton of Leola, Claud Newton (Sally) of Leola and Charlie Newton (Pamela) of Leola. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
