With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Gene Newton of Leola, Arkansas, who passed away on September 26, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, R. G. Newton and Sylvia Wingard Newton; and his brother Harold Newton. He is survived by: his son Tim (Carolyn Newton) of Leola; his siblings, Kenny Newton of Leola, Claude Newton (Sally) of Leola, Charlie Newton (Pam) of Leola and Ruth Ellen McGarity; and his grandchildren, Robert Scott Newton, Dusty Clark and Wade Clark (Brandy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials may be made Ouachita Missionary Baptist Church, 120 Hwy 222, Donaldson, Arkansas 71941.
