We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2021, at the age of 76, Vernon Strachota of Lead Hill, Arkansas, born in Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milvoy Strachota and Minnie Strachota (Rebik); his sisters, Marilyn and JoAnn; his aunt Libbie Podhajsky; and his son-in-law Jeffrey Austin.
He is survived by: his former wife Marlys Nation; his wife Cynthia Strachota (Conner); his children, Sheila Austin Minnehan (Dave) of Rogersville, Renee Graves of Nixa, Amber Theis (Jeff) of Hiawatha, Iowa and Jason Pape of Lead Hill, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Britni Dalton (Josh), Blake Austin, Ty Graves (Leah), Tawni Rambo (Trey), Avery Theis, Asher Theis and Elyse Theis. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
